Footprint
The Next is 5.5 inches wide, the slimmest Vertuo here, built for counters where width is the binding constraint. The Plus is wider and deeper to accommodate its larger tank and capsule bin. Measure your space: if the Plus fits, the Next's slimness buys you nothing.
Connectivity
